Tabletop Role-Playing Games

Mercenary Game Master

Need a Game Master? Not sure how to get started? I run games for:

✓ Learn-to-play adventures
✓ Birthday parties
✓ Bachelor parties
✓ Family game nights
✓ Character creation workshops
✓ Corporate team building games

I provide maps, dice, books, and props. You just bring imagination!

I've facilitated public games at DunDraCon '24, DunDraCon '25, and There&Back Cafe.

D&D is for all ages (as long as you can count to 20!). I'm currently available for private games for older teens and adults of all ages.

Collaborative storytelling

Tabletop role-playing games like Dungeons & Dragons are, first and foremost, collaborative storytelling games. All you need to play is an imagination and a willingness to Yes& your friends' improv ideas. Everything else, from elaborate maps and set pieces to fancy gemstone dice, is optional. But, these extras can make game day great. And a great game starts with a great Game Master.

A safe space for creativity

After years of all my friends playing, I finally succumbed to D&D and recently got to play in a two-shot DM'd by Onna. I felt so comfortable being a little weirdo and asking questions and taking creative risks!

A beloved fantasy novel

Onna's game-running focuses on getting to know her players and finding ways to validate them and their interests, and find unique ways to challenge and engage with them. The depth and balance of her ability to make TTRPGs feel rich and round is fantastic! She leverages her background in linguistics to paint vivid verbal images of settings, characters, and events with ease! Onna makes gaming feel thoroughly like a trip to a beautiful place of adventure, like reading a beloved fantasy novel for the very first time.

Work hard, play harder

"The opposite of play isn't work. It's depression.... Games make us happy because they are hard work that we choose for ourselves, and it turns out that almost nothing makes us happier than good, hard work."
-Jane McGonigal, Reality Is Broken (2010)
